About Marianne Campolongo

I inherited my first camera and my love of travel from my grandmother. Although the Kodak Brownie camera she gave me at age six is long gone, the wanderlust lives on. Whether I am shooting photographs in my own backyard or halfway around the world, I always feel that I am in my element. Much of my fine art work is photorealistic, but I also love experimenting with textures, composites and freehand drawing on my tablet to create mixed media photographs.

My photographs have appeared in several juried exhibits including Rising Waters 2.0 at the Museum of the City of New York and in many other shows in New York and New Jersey, and hang in the collections of both private and institutional art collectors. My images have been published in Smithsonian, Coastal Living, Scientific American, The (London) Telegraph, and dozens of other magazines, newspapers, calendars, and books from Moscow to Manhattan. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to do what I love for a living and to share my work on a global scale.
